His Highness Prince Vikram of Jalalabad and the history of his family is very unique . From a principality covering nearly 250 villages to getting their own land in India after partition. HH Prince Vikram’s grandmother, Princess Pushpa Devi, came from Pakistan after the partition. The Indian government, recognising her lineage, granted her land and a Privy purse. She married Pandit Jagdish Mittar Dhaumya ( Pandit Jagdish Mittars grandfather was the Raj Vaidya -Royal Doctor-in the royal court of the King of Kashmir. HH Prince Vikram is their grandson.

His Highness Prince Vikram of Jalalabad, is the current heir of the princely estate of Jalalabad. His lineage is from the great Rishi Dhaumya ( Kulguru of Pandavas ) The Dhaumya family has a temple dedicated to the great Sage Rishi Dhaumya in Una in Himachal Pradesh. The Dhaumya family still has a temple and a Dera called Dera Raaji Baaji in honor of a Religious Saint who took a Samadhi whilst alive
and a temple in Jalalabad.

His Highness Prince Vikram of Jalalabad is the direct successor of this family and heritage.
